Cashmere Neckwarmer

Another day, another bathroom glamour shot.

Cashmere neckwarmer. I used one ball of Grignasco Cashmere Soft and size 13 needles. I know, first silk, now cashmere. Pretty soon my pampered hands will only be able to bear the touch of angel down. And none of those adult angels and their old ass down. Fat baby angels only.

I can say with the utmost confidence that this is the best cashmere EVER. That is E-V-E-R. If it were socially acceptable, I would swathe myself in Grignasco Cashmere Soft /George Costanza. Tragically, it is like $25 for 54 yards. So until I win big in the sugar daddy lottery I will have to make do with swathing just my neckzone.

Here's a close up of the stitch pattern and the button I used.

Basically, what we have here is an easy slip stitch pattern, an i-cord button hole and juuuuust enough length to fill in the gap left in the neckline of a coat. I'll probably end up tucking some of that extra length (all, like, four inches of it) under the scarflette, but for picture purposes I let it all hang out.

I already miss knitting this, the yarn is THAT nice. A girl can dream about a Grignasco Cashmere Soft jumpsuit...

I love that stitch pattern and I love the button. Now get thee to an overly air conditioned place and enjoy your new scarf. Maybe it will attract a Sugar Daddy!

It's so simple & pretty! The button really makes it, and it's just right with a brown sweater.

You're really crankin' out the FOs lately!

That is downright classy!! I think any bitch could wear it and look attractive in it, maybe even attract a sugar hump!

Kim, where can I score good buttons around here? I looked at G-street but, honestly, htere was nothing that said "I belong on your lovingly knit sweater." Any other ideas?

I love that stitch pattern! Wish I could squish that yarn. oooh.

I have never bought cashmere- this seems like such a great idea... just a little bit couldn't hurt.

Hey Stranger, remember me? Yeah, its me, your bff. I just want to give that yarn a big squeeze and give you a big hug! I can only imagine wrapping my hands around the yarn and placing it close to my cheek to test the cloud factor. Not much knitting going on here. Apparently no one reads or crafts. BASTARDS!

Miss you!

You've just solved a problem I've been stewing over since Christmas. I was given 2 oz. of dyed cashmere to spin as a gift from my employer (the lady I was spinning for). I had no idea how I'd pull off a scarf but this is the perfect idea.
