Merry Knitmas
The Monkey King and I are going to Orlando next week to visit his family, but I've already kicked off my vacation...Kim Style. To execute, you must:
1) Sleep until 1:00 PM.
2) Lay on the couch the rest of the day.
2a) Watch I Know Who Killed Me.
2b) Eat lots of good chocolate.
3. Take long, hot bubble bath.
4. Sleep again.
This should all take about 12 hours. You may replace I Know Who Killed Me with any number of cracked out movies, but it's a pretty sweet film. Definitely eat the chocolate, though.
Y'all, I am SO looking forward to an entire week where my the only decision I have to make will be, "Thirds? Don't mind if I do, now fill that plate!" I have been so very burnt out lately, mainly because I actually did get called for an actual trial, and I had to sit for hours and hours each day for a week to listen to events leading up to and after a horrifying car accident. And there were pictures of amputation. I was not ready for that. Nor for debating with the other jurors. That part really sucked, not because two people wouldn't agree (it's their right and all), but because they would keep changing the subject when pressed for a reason why. Meanwhile, my ass went numb from too much sitting and they wouldn't let us out for smoke breaks. (The case settled, btw, so a jury ruling wasn't even necessary. Feh. Those two people still sucked.)
Last week I was in the office and it was deadly boring. I mean, I like my downtime, but damn, not 8 hours a day. So yeah, I am ready for this break, and I'm bringing my camera down so I hope to get some nice shots so when I blog again next year (heh, heh), I'll be all prepared!
Happy Holidays everybody, I hope everyone has a very nice and relaxing time and you all get rare and expensive yarn!
