The Bitter Taste of Defeat

Going to the frog pond.

double knit 003.jpg

Double knit scarf made of single spun acrylic yarn I picked up on the cheap in Hong Kong (haggled for, of course). Behold the uneven tension. The craptastic edges. The "almost, not quite" matching up of the yarn character. Goodbye, ugly scarf.

Apropos of nothing, I give you one of my favorite pictures from Thailand. This one is from a pitstop between Pattaya and Bangkok. We bought some fish skin snacks and hung out for a bit.

Sorry about the frog pond. I've been hanging out there quite a bit myself lately. Perhaps we could crack open a few beers and make a party out of it! ;-)

Yeah, seems a bit bland for your personality. I think a nice gender neutral baby gift would be good for this yarn. Cool pic. It's so amazing how different the culture is.
